turbo oil in comp side
I hav a evo 5 gsr. The car is smoking very badly white think smoke only when after boosting and letting off the throttle. shortly after I notice lots of oil coming through my intercooler piping, so the oil is coming from the comp side of the turbo.
under normal driving and idling the car doesn't smoke at all. in neutral reving the car to the limiter and holding it there no smoke either.
so I got another stock turbo assuming my turbo is bad and put it on the car. As soon as I hit boost and let off same thing occurs and notice oil in the turbo comp housing.
I checked the oil return line from the turbo back to the oil sump there is no blockage there.
What else can cause this? its really stressin me off and making spend lots of money

Did a compression test and the numbers I got were 155,155,160,155. The mechanic says those are OK numbers. The Engine was built 4 years ago with over bore wiseco pistons and eagle stroker kit and was never started. I got the car few months ago and its been running for only 2 months. Engine has no knock and runs smoothly except for a noisy head. It still has the standard oil pump. Ive been gentle with the engine and it was properly run in with oil treatment nd 3 oil changes since.

don't hav a catch can or any breather filters. Everything is setup standard. vent from valve cover to air intake is still there. Ive disconnected it and reved the engine while putting my hand over it to feel any pressure and there was none at all.

Pull and check the PCV valve. You should be able to blow freely through it in one direction and it should completely seal if you blow in the reverse direction.

car has stock evo 5 turbo td05-16g6-10.5t replaced it with another stock unit. The PCV valve was the first thing I checked when I noticed the problem and it seems to be working.
