Diagnosing My Transmission Issue

Ok here's the deal with it.

New clutch install in March of this year: Competition Stage 3.5 clutch, New OEM TOB, Fidanza Flywheel. Everything torq' to Spec!

New Xfercase fluid & Transmission fluid was put in at the time.

Transmission fluid: Redline MT-90 Is what I was recommended from 3 different forum venders.

The Issue: Ok with the car On, Push in the clutch, it will go into any gear easy as butter. If I let off the clutch, push it in again then try to go into other gears it is kind of hard to put it into gear the first time then easy again.

Driving, If I push the clutch in while driving it is also hard to get it into gear or if I cycle through gears it seems a little "Notchy" I guess would be the word. I do not get any gear lock out as I have ran to 7k rpms and shifted normally with no issue. It seems that anything outside of normal slow shifting it wants to catch but not grind.

I've checked to make sure all bell housing bolts are tight, Adjusted the clutch pedal and still nothing has changed.

Could this by due to the MT-90? Please any opinions would help I am trying to fix this because shifting while WOT is almost pointless when I have to wait almost 2 seconds to shift.

I've read this and Tested everything it has listed with no luck.

I don't think it's "Locking" out of gear, My ACT clutch def had lock out and would "Grind" when trying to shift. This will still go into gear but it's making a pretty loud noise if I shift fast. & not the rear end noise, the noise I'm hearing is while the clutch is still pushed in which means I should hear Nothing.

Then painfully, got to pull the clutch back out. You nearly described the same issue I had with my DSM. in my case was a bent fork. At the same time the TOB did not look good either. Could be signs of tranny failure. But you won't know unless you at least pull the trans.

I thought you mentioned some notchy-ness?

It's weird did not have these issue's with the OEM clutch, It was just slipping no issue's with gears. I put a brand new OEM TOB. I guess the clutch fork could be getting worn out but even with me having someone assist pushing the fork it's still not changing.

Though maybe the Transmission fluid isn't working with my transmission well or the shifter cables / bracket got bent on putting the transmission back in maybe?

Ya anything is possible. I'd double check everything just to be sure. You could call Jacks or Shep and ask them what they think.

I wouldn't think oil alone is causing your clutch issues

Yeah, I'm stumped, the clutch drag test didn't reveal anything either

Re-bleed the clutch, only thing I can think would be Transmission fluid? Maybe my car's not liking the new stuff or not enough?

Have you had your tranny rebuilt? I don't think the tranny oil is the problem. Stock clutch is more forgiving than the clutch you put in there. Less clamping force, etc.

Try bleeding the clutch line again. A few times.

Nope never been rebuilt 103k on it. Probably looks like I'll end up having to have it rebuilt. I didn't have any metal shavings at all in the transmission fluid when I did the clutch. It just blows my mind, I've done 2 other Evo clutch jobs and never had any issues.

I re-bleed it about 10 times yesterday. No air bubbles that I can see coming out.

When bleeding it does you guys clutch get stuck to the floor when holding it down and someone opens the bleeder?

I wouldn't really worry about a bent clutch fork. Evos use cast iron clutch forks which are way more likely to just snap rather then bend. Especially since the fork is not really subject to any heat.
