High HP & torque guys: what do you torque flywheel bolts to?

High HP & torque guys: what do you torque flywheel bolts to?

Curious how many ft-lbs other folks with high hp/hig tq cars torque their flywheel bolts to.

Do you torque with a torque wrench by hand?

Do you say screw torque wrenches and specs and hit the bolts with an impact gun? If using an impact gun, do you use a torque stick?

98 ft/lbs with thread locker.

I torqued mine to factory spec with some loctite

Good info to know. I dunno about using a impact thow may be safer by hand

I think the manual calls for 85ft lbs. That being said, 95ft lbs with loctite.

The manual is, surprisingly, 98 +/- 3.

100 with red Loctite I bought my first evo and on the drive home got into boost and broke all seven fly wheel bolts due the the shop not tightening them
