Post ,

The initial cost is cheaper,it cost 3200 racer price BUT it is not very Evo specific when it comes to the install, the mounting plate is "universal" and you have to find a solution for the old oil pump
The pump mounting plate is designed to be used on either the front or the rear of the motor but there are no holes to mount it to the block,I think the universal part is that it's universal for all their pumps
The quality is outstanding though and I also got their ultra trick oil/air separator although expensive but in for a penny in for a pound
Their sump pan is probably the nicest pan I've seen of all the dry sumps out there,as with all the other dry sumps I've seen you have to provide the plumbing which is understandable
I was wondering the best solution for the old pump hence this thread, even if I purchased the Magnus front cover it would still be less money than most kits, any thoughts anyone?
The nice thing also about the dry sump pumps out there that most people don't know is the packaging possibilities that come with that type of system, you can use direct drive fuel or power steering pumps mounted to the pump,I chose to stick with the big Weldon electrical fuel pump but my power steering is now driven by the oil pump from the crank, one pulley drives it all
