That's interesting.

They offer porting for the turbine housing for an additional $95.

Is this something specific to FP turbos? I'll be running this with a BBK Full.

Lots of places offer hotside porting services. MAP did a really nice job on my BBK. I guess you could ask FP about whether they would port a hotside for a BBK.

EDIT: CBRE could probably port your hotside as well.

My BBK is ported, so FP is referring to any accompanying turbo purchased.

Got it.

Once this thing is out I see no reason to run anything else. Good job FP as usual!
Any pics. of the collector?

How does the stock head match up to the inlet of this manifold? Is the head port smaller than the inlet of the manifold?

Looks like this was an error on the website:

Noah,

You've just caught an error for me It should say Manifold Porting and not Turbine Housing Porting, I just wrote the wrong thing! I will get that correct, however, what the porting includes is port matching the manifold outlet where it meets the turbocharger and it smooths the collector just slightly. If you would like this added, please let me know.

Thank you,
Amber

Being as this was a pre-production manifold and the only one currently made, we knew it may take some work to get fitment and such right. However right out of the box it was pretty damn good, only issue was the one runner needs to be ground down to get the front turbo flanged bolt in.Which I'm Sure will be addressed before release. After that we sent the manifold over to Curt Brown Racing and let him have at it. What we got back was hands down the best bang for the buck out there.

We didnt feel the need to run the car ***** out , so all runs were done in 3rd gear at 34PSI of boost. I was very impressed with how consistent the power was, run after run there was little to no loss in spool or mid range power or torque over the MAP tubular manifold, and we saw gains of 10whp and 10wtq! For a cast bolt on manifold that fits great, looks stock, and is incredibly cost effective, I think it's a no brainer which way to go. I really did not expect to see any power gains out of this manifold and I was pleasantly surprised. I honestly figured we had maxed out the current set up ,but to be able to add an extra 10WHP and 10WTQ on a car that we will be chasing down a long standing record in a few weeks is huge and I can't thank Forced Performance Turbochargers and Curt Brown Racing enough for the opportunity to test this manifold.

If you're looking to maximize your "stock flanged" turbo set up from mild to all out pushing the limits this is the manifold for you.

FP Cast EVO 9 Manifold Vs. MAP Tubular Manifold.

This car has the FP Zero on it which utilizes a cast stainless internally gated divided turbine housing.
