FP Cast Race Manifold for the 4G63
#287
It should be included since it wasn't even mentioned in the first place. $50 is ridiculous that I have to spend extra on something that is supposed to be OEM replacement.

It is not "oem replacement". It is a stock frame replacement manifold. If it was meant to replace the stock exactly it would be the same. Using different hardware to allow for better design is not only acceptable but expected. The only difference is two longer bolts than stock.

As I said, its ridiculous to have to do more to make it work. Why would it be expected to need to change the studs in the turbo? I guess everything is a stock replacement if you think about it...including turbos like a 6262 ha

So this is going to end up being a little over $550 with the manifold, hardware, porting, and coating.
Any other manifolds can compete?
I want to do a comparison, pros and cons of manifolds in that price range.
I know for you Cali guys, it makes it look stock.

You could probably get the OEM hardware quite a bit cheaper form one of the online OEM Mitsu parts places. Anyway, it's not like you have to buy that botl set to make the manifold useable.

there is a lot of crying in here. If you want a stock manifold, go buy one, $40 bucks used on evom. If you want a STOCK APPEARING high performance manifold then you are in the right place. If the manifold sacrifices $3 worth of bolts for better flow who gives a ****?

Seriously guys. You should be using new hardware every time anyway. Although, I'm hoping my ARPs will last a couple R&Rs.
This will be my manifold of choice when the time comes!

Wait - so you have to have a different set of bolts, different from OEM, to make this work? This is getting frustrating. I have a bolt set and now it looks like I need to get a different bolt set to make it work.
