Thanks for the lead. Here's some info and a decent thread on eMAP for the first couple pages anyway:

I guess I dont get what you think "spools fast and flows alot" means. The bb Black makes 30psi on my stock motor 8 by 4200rpm and flows 68lbs min. People said it was a laggy turbo. Well people have not built many turbo cars then. I doubt a BBK will spool as fast and be capable of the same power level.

Any updates? Im waiting patiently. Im trying to run 30psi through an internal gate from a bb Black and im starting to think its choking the motor down. Its not wanting to make the power that it should.

The BBK-B has spool characteristics of close to the BBK Full. FP turbos really shine at higher PR's. The BBK turbos seem to do well at lower pressures. The Black with a 2.3 is not what I am looking for, as I have researched that a lot. But I am glad you're happy with it.

I called FP today about the manifold and I was told they will release in about another month. As a DSMer myself, I have used their manifolds in the past and they are awesome. As soon as I saw this thread I knew I was getting one for my Evo.

I agree. I would really like to see a comparison between the ported stock manifold and the FP race manifold. I already have a BR port job on my current manifold so it would be nice to know if its worth it.

I doubt it'll be much over a stock ported, but for a guy like me in the middle of a build with just a stock unported manifold it is good timing. Wish they could send me one before I get this motor together..

Link will go live tomorrow to be able to pre-purchase the manifold we have around 100 units before Christmas but only 20 units will be sold at the pre-sell pricing of $299.

Venture over to our FB page http://www.facebook.com/fpturbos and tomorrow I'll post a link to the product page where you can purchase the manifold and be one of the first 20 to have it in your hands.

By the way is there any threads to see the results of this new manifold comparing to the stock? Thanks!

Agreed.

I'd love to see some dyno charts and what set-ups are ideal for this new piece.

What turbo would you want to mate with this? FP Black? HTA Green?

I am sure this Mani works better than any ported stock due to geometry alone. I am sure they didn't test it and find it sucked and decide to sell them anyhow. Once the turbine housing is released in will decide if I want to sell my T3 setup and go stock frame.
