I'm not buying prototype until someone personally has tested it. Not from a manufacturer or some sales guy. I want a use case scenario with video of stock evo before and then after.

You must be new here. It's ok, we'll forgive your ignorance.

There are many reasons. This is a cast manifold so there are advantages like better thermal management under the hood and less likely to crack. It can use a stock heat shield. It is approx 35-50 percent the cost of a tubular manifold and if the runners are a lot larger could possibly help with higher HP stock frame turbo. It is not much more than a ported stock one and looks a lot nicer so if no other reason it is a lot prettier. This combined with the new turbine housing could basically make a T3 setup obsolete. They might be able to make an HTA 86 sized turbo with the bugger turbine housing that will make 800whp and spool as good as a twin scroll t4 setup. The possibilities are there. Hopefully the realities are close to the possibilities. I know Curt Brown made 800+ on the DSM version with the bolt on housing HTA 86.

What a good price, im pretty sure I paid more to have my stock mani jet coated and ported than to get this whole new mani.

For me (being in California) the OEM fitment for both the turbo and heatshield is extremely useful.

The fact that this will flow better than a ported OEM exhaust manifold is just a bonus.

At this point, I am assuming all (20) units are the "pre-purchase" price are paid for already?

Interesting. If the numbers and spool are there I may give up my T4 FF setup and go with this and a FP Black BB (or bigger if they start offering it)

Agreed. I purchased two last night in one single order to save on shipping w/ a friend. It gave me no problems purchasing but did charge my credit card that night versus waiting until it ships.

I'm getting lucky with Amazon and the Xbox One not charging till it ships. I understand that FP can't do the same as it's a bit different....

I think you mean lowering velocity here, not pressure?

A better flowing manifold will lower pressure at the exhaust valve but won't change pressure at the turbine wheel as the turbine wheel and wastegate determine the pressure there. If anything, improving exhaust manifold flow will increase pressure at the turbine wheel.

I suppose FP could answer the question though, as they likely have had pressure taps at both ends of the runners.

Maybe I missed it... but NO data?

I'd be interested in what material was used and what it does to spool/power.

Seems like no one here is asking questions.

No data.

I asked quite a few questions. None of them were met with anything concrete.
