Car shut off going dow highway...stalled
Driving down the highway at 65 mph and the car just shut off. Put it in neutral and started back up. Drove normal for a couple mins and then same thing. Then it wouldn't start so I pulled the neg battery cable and it starts right up, but dies a minute later.
I have put the stock fuel pump back in and nothing different. Tried to check all the grounds. The fuel pump comes on when you try to start the engine. I know it's possibly a cam angle sensor or crank angle sensor as well as maybe a water temp sensor.
I have searched every topic I can think of and no luck. Hoping to find someone who has had this problem and resolved it.

The engine shut off, but the power to the rest of car remained in intact. When the engine stalled it didn't run rough and slowly die....it just shut silently off. I was hard to even realize it happened. Later on when I could reset the ecu and then start it up the engine would run for a minute or two and then run rough and die. Now it won't start. I have ruled out the fuel pump.
I'm thinking crank angle sensor. Any suggestions?
