Rear Diff Leak.... Where is it coming from

Was doing work on the evo last night and noticed this for the first time. I never see anything leaking in the driveway or anything under the car. Looks like something is leaking from the rear diff. Thoughts?

Mine kind of looked like that but it clearly was under the axles, your diff seems like its leaking higher (??)

So when I replaced my seals, mine were more weeping than leaking, they seemed dry but I replaced them and no more leaking.

Hope that helps.

Thanks GTijoejoe.. I am going to buy new seals and then clean the diff and throw some powder on it see if i can source the leak. Can't hurt to replace the seals. Just hope its not something else..

If it was a really bad seal the fluid would be all over. its its seeping a little it would probably closer to the outer edges of the axle. Yours seems to be the gasket cover leaking. i would clean it up really good see where the leak originates from. i think ive seen your car around. im in malvern quite a bit.
