Evo 8 MR BOV

Ok was readjusting my UICP after doing a boost leak test and as I was moving things around to not interfere with the shift linkage i somehow broke the plastic nipple from the stock plastic BOV (the one that goes to manifold). I have another on order but it may be a week or two. My question is, is it ok to run it like it is? I have capped vacuum line going to manifold and car is running fine, I also dont plan on going past 5 PSI untils its fixed. I know BOV use negative pressure from manifold to help open valve, just curious if it will do any harm in running like this.

Thanks

if you wont boost too much - its fine and will not do any harm.

Buy a metal one. Plastic is no good.
