Thank you. I will give that a shot. That's exactly what I was told to do by FP. They told me my turbo was good and that there is something else going on most likely.... hmmm.

I will do this when I get home and report back... unless someone knows of a good instructional on how to clean the PCV they can give me or write really quick as I am not sure the proper cleaning procedures.

If white or blue smoke is blowing out of your exhaust pipe when the car is idling. And it wasnt before your installed the turbo, it is most likely the seals on the turbo are worn out.

I had the same issue with a JB FP Black. Had very little shaft play, but would smoke just on decel. It turned out it did need a rebuild. Never had any issues since

I see.... well, thanks for that info. If I have to rebuild it I will later on. It does have very minimal shaft play without oil pressure. With oil pressure I bet it has none. I will start with the easier stuff then work my way back to taking the turbo off and sending it in I guess.

I really appreciate the reply since you had the same symptoms I do. I have a feeling that's what is going on.

Hi AKW89, have you solved that?
Same problem with a FP green.

I haven't done it yet but unfortunately it will get worse and worse and needs a rebuild. No shaft play or anything. They say it is rare for it to do that but on the bright side at least there will likely be no shaft or blade damage.
