Haltech Platinum Sport has no knock sensor what solution to tune?

Came with a friends car and no local tuners have the head set

Any solutions or an external knock sensor we can log?

Is it an EVO 8 or 9? Stock engine harness? Is it the 5 or 6 speed? PS1000 or PS2000 ECU? Is it using the patch loom wiring kit for the stock harness?

Once I know all this I can show you how to set it up.

I'm not sure about the Haltec, but with other types of stand alone Ecus you'd have to use electronic det cans, such device would usually have an output signal that could be incorporated in most data logging software.

Reading spark plugs while tuning on a dyno...

Take it slow and it's not too difficult. Just know, there is nothing there to save your *** if you mess up.

Watch the torque curve on the dyno and read plugs.

No dyno shop in Miami?!
Again I suggest you buy an electronic knock analyzer, it has signal output which you could incorporate in any data log. It would be crazy to tune a high powered car with no form of knock detection!

You can also call haltech. If it was direct wired into the ECU, they should have wired in the stock knock sensor. You will have to find it in the haltech software.
