Balance shaft belt timing help

Where is the balance shaft timing mark on the belt drivin balance shaft thank you

the gear has a triangular mark. the oil pump housing has a slot

Thanks for your help. I see the mark. Is it like the oil pump shaft where it needs to be on the correct rotation or can I just line up the mark. Thank you

The crank sprocket needs to be TDC with balance sprocket on ting mark. Then line up the oil sprocket and timing gears

You don't need to put a screwdriver in the balance shaft inspection hole. Just twist the oil sprocket clockwise or counter clockwise. If it falls towards the timing mark then the balance shaft is fine, if it falls away from the timing mark then the balance shaft is 180 out

its not like the oil pump. it lines up on every crank rotation. so put crank at tdc, line the marks, and you are done.
