bov

I admit I don't really know very much about bov's. I have recently bought this MR not sure if its stock tuned or not being that it has injen IC and piping but everything else is stock. I am wondering if my bov is leaking by. my car only holds about 14psi(1.0kg/cm2) it will build to 17psi(1.2kg/cm2), but immediately drops back to 14. I disconnected the side that is inline with the filter and MAF, at idle there is no leak but with a rev I can feel it with my hand.

Is this normal?
Am I checking the correct side?

I want to replace with recirc bov, but does it need replaced?

You are spiking 17psi and holding 14psi ? Also you want to replace it with recirculating bpv, so you are vta as of now ? You feel air when revving or revving then let go and you feel air.
