has anyone installed this. I got mine the other day and i fear it is going to make the Alternator bracket not line up anymore. Anyone have advice or information on this?

i installed one when i installed the wilson vo manifold. i didnt have any problems with the hondata gasket.

no problems specifically with the alternator bracket?

is that bracket behind the manifold and accessible under the car?

no, this is on the side of the intake manifold where the alternator is. There are three bolts, 1 on the alt, 1 on the block and 1 connected to the #1 IM runner bottom bolt.

I installed mine on my new engine while it was out of the car. I reused the brace for the intake manifold that comes up from the back of the block. In order to do this I had to use spacers to shim the bracket appropriately. This isn't really an issue though as most just toss that brace out when they take off the intake mani. I also had to loosen the alternator bracket and recock it a bit due to the amount the gasket realigned its braces that connect to the farthest out passenger side stud.

/\ that's about it... I didn't put the brace back myself.

Somes studs seem to be installed a little deeper than others... some people find them too short, most seem not to.

Oh crap forgot to mention that I did have to replace the studs on my head, sorry. Found them at ACE hardware in a pinch but can't remember the size.
