GSC vs MAP Valve Springs/Retainers set

I'm about to make an order for valve springs and retainers set for my VIII.

Will be using this set with GSC S2.

Anyone please suggest which one is best bang for bucks.

Thanks!

Both are great products. I personally have the map ultimate duty springs with titanium retainers with gsc s3 cams. I have no issues

Both very good, as well as the BR ones, Kiggly, Supertech, and a few others I can't recall at the moment.

The specs of the MAP springs sure are very similar to the GSC. I have a feeling they are one in the same.

Only way they do that is if MAP is buying them from GSC and calling them their own. That's not the first time that's happened with them. Ask Magnus.

You want GSC Cams, use their matching valvetrain or at the very least Kiggly. Don't see what's so hard about this decision.

I saw MAP comes with only springs and retainers but GSC comes with springs, retainers and seats.

I wonder What's the different?

Gsc doesn't offer the seats anymore

So basically both MAP and GSC are the same right?

I mean not exactly same but they are both working properly with high lift cams and they looked all the same.

If that's right, I would go with MAP to save a few bucks.

I would say the ultimate duty map springs with titanium retainers are comparable to the hi rev gsc springs 5041. But the regular map springs cannot support more than 11.2 lift. The ultimate duty springs support up to 12 lift which is perfect for S3 cams.
