UK, and I suppose JDM, VIII MR factory cams are slightly more radical than standard VIII cams.

Update*

Installed the JUN 264 cams after cleaning and bleeding the HLAs which were hard as a rock. The cams are currently set as 0 intake / 0 exhaust .

The idle was loopy but the response of the car above 2000 rpm changed radically, the response was amazing. I could literally feel the air rushing through.. Spool , mid range and top end was improved significantly over the stock cams.

Using stock springs and retainers car is at 1 bar boost. Changed some values in the fuel and timing map but the idle is jittery even after pushing the idle upto 1200 rpm. As soon as i turn on the A/C the idle becomes much more stable but without a/c its loopy.

I tried adding fuel at the idle rpm and load cells but the ecu still hunts for 14.7 and hovers around 14.7 to 16. There is a table named OPEN LOOP TPS vs RPM which helps in idle stability but sadly i cant any such table in my rom. the rom is 93660005.

Need your help.
Thanks

Basically, i made a mistake, i didnt install adjustable cam gears with them, so i couldnt do much to adjust the overlap. If you drop them straight in, the idle is very loopy [ 280 like ] . I wasnt running a tephra rom, so didnt had the luxury of adjusting alot of parameters.

i dont exactly remember the vacuum i had but it wasnt stable at all. I tried to raise the idle to 1000, 1100 but the difference wasnt so obvious.
