Sudden stop question

So i was driving on the freeway the other day in 5th gear at about 75-80 mph and a semi had a blow out in front of me causing other cars to slam on their brakes. I had to slam on mine also to avoid hitting the car in front of me but since i have a RS i skidded. I didnt even have enough time to hit the clutch so i just nailed the brakes in order to stop. Luckily i didnt stall out because i didnt come to a complete stop. My question is if i did this sudden stop/skid without pushing in the clutch, could this cause motor/drivetrain damage? I figured the worst that would happen would be me stalling out but i just wanted to make sure.

You may have a few bald spots on your tires
Otherwise the car will be fine.
