Evo exhaust sound clips
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that we have a collection of sound clips from various Evo exhausts! This should help you guys decide if you're divided between systems.
Enjoy!

Rob. If you want to add a sound clip for the GHL modular xhaust, I have some vid clips available on the Product Review write-up on this site.
Or if you did the recording yourself and want to add it, we can meet up to do a quick recording.

Anyway you can obtain the AVO and Greddy Titanium sounds? I know Road Race has the latter but I want to hear a different perspective. Also how come some of those exhausts blow out so much smoke at idle. I definitely won't buy those. I need to pass emissions testing.

Great thread.......Really enjoyed the Buschur Racing SCAA legal. The sound was throaty and not too obnoxious for around town. Will be getting their exhaust in with Mod 1 and 2 on Friday 3/19. It will be worth the 7.5 hr drive to Ohio.

Many many thanks to Rob and the guys at NorCalEvo. The only thing I would like to add would be a sound clip of the exhaust while under boost/WOT on the road. I believe the best way to do this is to have someone hold the recorder in the right rear seat with the window down (crack open front left window to reduce wind noise). Next, go to a longish stretch of road that has a solid block wall along the length of it on the right. My bet is that all of you know where such walls are in your neighborhoods are because they give such a great echo of what our bas *** cars sound like. Start recording and do a third gear pull from 3000 to 7000 rpm. Of course there will be more variance from car to car, but it will give viewers a very realistic idea of what they will hear under actual WOT.
I'm going to do this this weekend and post it here if ok.
