the best solution IMO is a steel drum which is inner coated and the caps are sealed. that is what i use. you can get them on line or a local speedshop

It's only 5 miles away what's the big deal about going to the gas station that close? I don't see the point to store it. Now if you lived 30 miles maybe yeah

Are you seriously going to store e85 when its just 5 miles away... my closest station that has e85 is about 47 miles away

I would just fill it up whenever I am low on fuel since its so close

There's no e for 150+ here. Guys use quality newer steel drums with no issues

Yeah but for only being five miles away. The best place to store it is at the gas station and drive 5 miles to fill up. Unless you lived in downtown Chicago where it takes 30 plus minutes to go five miles lol. To each his own but yeah the steel drums with a liner is the way to go

Here's what I picked up. They are super easy to use and I can fit all four (sans kids) on the floor in the backseat. My closest E85 station is 30 min from my house but two blocks from where I work.

These are what I'm going to be using to store e85. They're on the pricier side but I feel safer storing in steel than plastic containers. Plus they fit in the trunk of my Evo X.

I found them on Amazon. Just do a search for Eagle safety cans. They could probably be found cheaper elsewhere tho.
