Hello EvoM, i have recently installed an Evo IX gsr trans in my VIII. everything is working properly but im having a whining noise through first and second on accel only. When i let off the gas in gear it goes away. Im thinking its the input shaft bearing. Im looking for any insight into this. Has anyone experienced this before?

off the wall question, did you have to use the sensors from your VIII transmission when you put in the IX transmission?

had the same issue long time ago. It was 1st gear hardware((( the car was used for drag before me( it was quite expensive.

That initial whine in first and second gear is normal.
