Need a 4G64 head gasket that supports high HP

I need a GOOD head gasket for my 2.4 LR that will support 900hp, 40-45psi of boost.

I searched and searched.

I finally came across this one from ND. Has anyone tried it or know of one that works with high boost?

http://www.norrisdesigns.com/proddet...?prod=evo-0045
These feature and conventional layering system and an EXTRA WIDE stopper sealing fold, these can be used with NO wire ring on ALL 4G64 builds and hold up to 900Hp.
Some mentioned stock 9 gasket thats bored out but where do you get those?

Update: Found Buschur can get the OEM Mitsubishi 5 layer IX head gasket, bored out for a 2.4 and thats the route I'm going.

Yeah it does a little but the fire rings do look thicker.

I used a cossworth 87mm one on mine. Had the block O-ringed. Goal is to hit 900+ to with a 6765 on my 2.4 with all supporting mods.

2nd on where to find bored out stock gaskets. Nobody sells them anymore. As for the MLS 4g64 gasket, I've heard people using them and having decent results. but nobody in detail....

Many have hit 900+ without o-ringing the block/head. I know my buddy Jake hit 1100hp on an engine dyno with his 2.1 with a Felpro permatorque running 50psi and no o-ring. He had a batch made from Felpro. Maybe if we can get enough orders, Felpro could make a some. I have read Cosworth is actually Cometic but I'm not sure if there's any truth to that or not.

Yep, its frustrating. I'd be curious who is making 800+ hp on one.

Yeah, I'm actually using the G4JS Head, wonder if that gasket will work for our cars? It makes since, especially since the head bolts up correctly.

I would contact English Racing and see what they recommend since they do a lot of 4g64 builds.

I had them put in for the hell off it. Won't hurt to have them.

I have this one as MAP pretty much said this is the one to go for with my stage 5 head and stage 2 block 2.4LR. This thing is solid compared to any other head gasket I've seen. Max boost I'm running is going to be 35-40psi. I'm not o ringed at all, but its pricey lol

I personally went with a Cosworth one. You can't go wrong with Cosworth.

Been doing PM's back and forth. He swears by the Cometic but says its a custom HG.

I've read some issues with PE too like this statement from Aaron.

It seals our drag car making over 1050whp, it seals my car at 794 and is now in Mikeys.

Remember the key to advice on the internet is take it from people that do it on the daily and have these motors running and going through abuse. If somehow all my data was incorrect when I tested my car on pumpgas and the car was knocking like a son of gun, the first thing that should have gone was the "cheap" headgasket. It was and is fine

Thats what MAP suggested. I'd like to see who with high 800+ hp is running one.

I'd be curious how that gasket holds up with 40+ psi of boost.

Magnus suggested running the HKS gasket but thats not cheap. I don't mind paying for one ***IF*** it will hold. Felpro does make a gasket for the 4g64 but its half as thick as the stock 8/9 gasket and I don't think I want to take chance with piston to valve clearance.
