FP Black wastegate actuator

Which wastegate actuator would be the best option for running around 26 to 28 psi without having boost creep issues; fp 25 psi, fp 18 psi or stock evo 9?

If you are sure that you will never run over 28#, then an FP HD 18# actuator is the right way to go. But, there is a caveat: You will have to mod it by shortening the actuator rod. That is a modded 18 pounder is good for 27-29#.

But, if you don't wanna mod it, or you may some day wanna increase boost up over 32#...then go with the 25 pounder.

slowsrt4 is right. Just run the FP HD 25# actuator. Slap it on and be done with it.

On a stock 2L motor fitted with a relatively large, slow spooling turbo like the black you should have no boost creep issues regardless of what actuator you choose.

Turbosmart IWG-75 with 26psi spring combo.
Pre-load this to ~1/2 an eyelet, which will give a solid 27psi peak, 26.5psi flat boost curve off the gate only.

OP just so you know the FP WGA's aren't for sale on their website anymore. My guess is they haulted production once they released their new housing which doesn't require a internal wastegate. I just picked up a Turbosmart 22psi wga and have no complaints. If you really want the FP one you can try emailing them or wait for a used one to pop up for sale.

From my experience you are going to have boost creep, the lowest PSI that I can run with that turbo is about 26psi, I was never able to go lower. So if the lowest that you want to go is 26psi you should be ok, I have the 25psi wga. If you set your BCS to 0 duty cycle when the turbo is spooling you are going to see like 23 psi all the way to like 5500 or 6000 rpm then the boost creep starts and it jumps to 25 or 26psi, that is why people call it boost creep.
