Competition Clutch Triple Disc Clutch Kit

If this has been discussed in the past I apologize but I have been searching and can not find any reviews on the Comp Clutch Triple Disc. Is anyone running this kit? I am currently running an ACT HD but plan on pulling the trans to have it rebuilt so I figure I would kill two birds with an upgrade to a multi-disc clutch setup. For the price it seems like it would be a great option to pursue. Any feedback would be really appreciated.

I'm running the comp twin disk, no issues. I love it so far. I only ask why you are thinking about using a triple, as those are rated for 1000 hp. I'm using the twin for a goal of 850 currently, and so far its not bad driving in town at stop lights ect..

I was originally looking at the Exedy Twin HD but after shopping around I realized that the Comp Triple was about $147 bucks more that the Exedy. So I figure that for $147 it would be worth to get a triple over a twin. Granted its an overkill for my car. However I figured that a triple disc clutch would have a little more longevity over the twin disc. I don't daily drive my car street-ability isn't not a huge concern to me.

We have been doing the Alpha and Beta testing in Austin's Evo. 1100whp launches do what you would expect so while we arent testing for longevity necessarily, I can tell you it holds 750 ft lbs for quite awhile.

I am not sure if anyone else other than our "street" tester in NY has had one in a car.

I currently run the comp twin disc and haven't had any issues with it. The car currently makes 640/500 and will be making more next summer. I don't foresee this clutch not being able to handle the new power. It takes a while to get used to it and the reverse throw device is kinda weird but it definitely gets the job done.
