it feels better, im putting in the metal bushings this week... to see if is even better...

The stock tranny fluid felt a bit stiffer and it feels smoother now

If you are concerned, the parts manager at my local Mitsu dealer recommended I drive to a GM dealer and get the Syncromesh. My dealer does not sell the OEM fluids because they get it in 55 gallon drums. And if you look at the part number of the GM Syncromesh, it's the one that's on the Pennzoil container, so it's clearly known thaey are the same fluid.

well personally i wouldnt trust pz oils in my car or anyone elses, unless you change them frequently. i used to work at a pz, and have done rebuilds on a few engines that have had pz conventional, vs. valvoline conventional, and the pz always sludges up, and consticts oil passage ways, but it tightens up bearing clearences.

i will use pz for the first thousand on a fresh engine, then i switch to mobil 1 for the next 3, then i go over to ams severe service for 25k.

thanks guys...oh and by the way we arent talking about motor Oil...i use Mobil 1 for that, but on the way home from school i stopped at the local Autozone, picked up 3 qts. of the Pennzoil Synchromesh for $4.99/qt. so i guess after i get the diff oils i will be changing mine.

Seve7, we are talking synthetic gear oils here, not conventional motor oil. The Pennzoil Syncromesh will be fine for the tranny until your next fluid change. It's so easy that I may change these fluids much more frequently.

Quick Reply: Pennzoil Synchromesh.....anyone?
