Which Amsoil for the stroker?

I just got a new motor built. Builder said to go with 20w-50 after the break in period. I usually run amsoil in all my cars, but I never had a built motor. My question is which amsoil do any of you with built motors use?

It's a 2.3L Stroker. .040 over. 9.5:1. Manley ibeams, wiseco pistons.

Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you

for street driving, go with 10w40. if you're going to do a lot of track, run dominator 15w50

I was leaning toward z-rod too. I didn't know if the 20w-50 premium protection one with high zinc would be good too?

Boutique oil can be good
But unlimited resource unlimited race experience flagship oil has got to be better...

If your builder told you to run 20-50 then do as your builder tells you... the reason he is telling you to run a thicker oil is because of bearing clearances...

The Z-Rod and Dominator have almost the same ZDDP content, however the Z-ROD also has a detergent package and anti-corrosion inhibitors as well...
