Using a Non mivec bottom end on a mivec car.. problem?

Using a Non mivec bottom end on a mivec car.. problem?

Wanting to do a bottom end swap cuz mine is tired.
I have a mivec car will this be a problem or must I stick with a mivec bottom end?

Good question!
If you have them both, or one and the other's head gasket you could line them up. Only thing I could think off that may be different is the coolant passage.

The coolant passages are the same. You will need to tap the block however for oil feed for the MIVEC. I know this info is floating around on this forum so poke around and you should be able to find more specific info.
