Valve Stem to Guide Clearance Question

Valve Stem to Guide Clearance Question
Hey guys I just finished my LR2.4 build. After 200 miles I started experiencing smoking on high rpm decel. Pulled the plugs and noticed oil on top of the pistons.
I had my local machinist rebuild the head during the build process and he said the guide to stem clearance was within spec. I personally installed the OEM stem seals with the plastic tool from euro export. I made sure the viton seals were on the exhaust side. Before I installed my Kiggly beehives I checked to see how much side to side play there was between the valve and guide and there was zero play.
After seeing the oil on top of the pistons I pulled the valve cover and none of the stems have popped off. How is so much oil getting on top of the pistons with brand new valve stem seals and zero play between the valve and guide? The valves and guides were not replaced when my machinist rebuilt the head and have about 30,000 miles on them. My compression is between 185-195 psi.
