rods and pistons
Hey guys so I am building my evo x and for the life of me I can not decide what rods and pistons to go with. seams everyone has there own input on this but I don't want input I want experience.
Who is using carrillo h beam rods in your evo x or evo 8 or 9 and how much power are you making and how long you been making it, reason why I ask is carrillo is suppose to be the best out there and yet no one uses them they all use I beam rods, or at least no one talks bout them.
Pistons,
JE,CP.WISECO,MANLEY are what I am looking at
who is using what and how much power are you making and how long have you been on them for.
I am looking at upgrading rod bolts in either rods and upgrading wrist pins and if piston does not come with coating adding the skirt coating.
My power level I am building for is 1000whp my car will sit at 800 ish most of its life.
