Heat reflective tape

I picked up some aerolite plus heat reflective tape. I wanted to see under hood pics of where others use it to for best effects. I'm looking to keep my temps down as much as possible.

I will be wrapping my MAP DP and ported stock exhaust manifold, and throwing some coats of VHT flameproof on those also. My turbo hotside is already ported and coated.

Here are the test numbers on the heat reflective tape.

Supposed to be 96% reflective

I have seen it on the side wall of the valve cover near the exhaust manifold

i used the gold stuff on my oil pan (before i wrapped my DP, but now i have both) and oil return line (since i was down there LOL). i run the stock exh mani, so haven't put any on the valve cover (i could see it being useful for the taller, tubular manifolds). i've seen some people use it on IC piping, but i can't really see that helping seeing how mine aren't next to anything that gets that hot.
maybe the inside of heat shields? i think those would get too hot, though. i dunno
if i had enough, i'd do the tunnel above the exhaust.
i've seen a lot of people use it in other places, but i think it was just for looks.

I will do the oil pan since the downpipe will be off, the heat shield, any sensors I can and if I have any left the side of the valve cover.

kinda related: i've had a few very reputable people give me some very good reasons to not use turbo blankets, in case you were thinking of going that route. i lost the emails, but it was pretty convincing.

I've heard similar, due to possible oil coking with all the heat being held in.

Where did you pick up the aero lite? I used to have a site bookmarked but lost it.
