Trouble with quick 2-3 shift

1-2 and 3-4 quick shift are no problem, but lately 2-3 has been difficult. I don't think its something new, but rather that I've not tried to push it this quickly before. There's no grind. Instead, it feels like 3rd gear is just not there. I don't think its lockout, but not totally sure. Feels like the gate has moved. Any suggestions on what to replace to fix it? Shifter cable bushings? Shifter base bushings? Some driveline bushing? Some adjustment?

If it feels like the gate moved you might have a worn or bent shift fork.
Play with the shifter with the engine off and see if the distance is the same front/back where the slider meets the synchro on 1st and 3rd.
Just to try to rule out obvious internal damage.

Trouble with quick 2-3 shift

Open it up and see if you have a bunch of wear on the 3-4 shift fork. My trans was doing something similar and the fork was worn down over 1/16"...

I have no idea why, but 2-3 has always been my fastest shift, by far. Going off datalogs.

3-4 lockout had anyways been my issue. I tend to blame a dragging clutch when it starts, and the trans always goes down hill for me from there.

Good luck

Shifts fine during daily driving. Nothing odd at all.

Mine does the same thing.

Perfect shift during normal driving, but 2-3 quick shift at track is not easy.

I have TS shifter cable bushing / Beatrush shifter base bushing already. Overall shift feel got better after going back to Redline MTL (2Qt) / MT-90 (1Qt) mix from straight MT-85 though.

Hope to hear some possible causes / solutions. Thanks.
