Evo 5 speed swap

Evo 5 speed swap
I know there a lot of threads but didn't find my answer , if I have a evo 9 , if I buy a evo 9 5 speed will it just bolt on and also what the difference in evo 8 and 9 5 speed ?

bolts in. clutch is same. parts needed for swap. 5spd top mount, 5spd shifter cables and base, the small wire harness for reverse and speed sensor. one plug connection is different.

Ok even if it a evo evo 9 5 speed ? Il need that harness ?
I was told that the evo 8 was different.
How hard is this to do ? I'm about break into 500 horsey team and I think my 6 speed gunna go boom
