I'm shopping for a set of 2.3 stroker pistons (86mm bore) for a 700HP Evo 8 (34psi boost). In the past, I almost exclusively used JE & CP pistons, the 2.3L CP's are around $700 but I just noticed that Manley offers stroker pistons at $500ish which is significantly lower in cost!

Would you recommend them for such high powered Evo?

Get Wiseco HD's in 9:1 compression from ExtremePSI, they're a bit less than $550.

Looks promising! Is any different than the HD piston sold directly by Wiseco? The compression ratio offered seems to change with the bore size! In the Wiseco catalog, the CR is 9:2 for the 86mm stroker piston.

Yes, it's the same piston. It goes up a tad because they don't change the dome size enough as the vote increases. The slight higher compression from the bigger bore will be fine. You just don't want the 10.5:1 comp ratio Pistons.
