So since Precision is taking forever to diagnose and quote the cost to fix......

my turbo, I'm looking at alternatives. I'm not really in the mood to spend another 2-3k on a another precision turbo (IF this service is any indicator of how their service is.........yeah I'll pass).

I know I could get a HTA86 or some variant but the price tag discourages me (I still want to fix my turbo and then sell it to recoup some dough if I get another turbo). That being said I have a front facing setup that doesn't have enough space for an EFR (Are these even readily available yet?) so I'm looking at getting a Borg-Warner 300 series turbo's.

I've been scouring the dyno forum for numbers and now I'm looking for more daily driving review on it. How's the power under the curve? How's transient response? I'm coming from a PTE 6265 BB T4 with a 1/1.15 AR (I can't remember offhand what size). I'm looking for something that is about the same size........are at least has the same spool characteristics. My turbo was a bit of an odd ball (I didnt go with the 6266 like everyone else and I went T4 when it wasn't popular), and I had it before the 6466 came out.

That being said can anyone with experience with the BW Airwerk's and PTE's 626X line of turbo's give me some educated reviews on both. Tuners that have tuned both especially.

Thanks in advanced (And yes I'm still searching).

The BW journal bearing turbos are freaking tanks, but I would stick to something Ball Bearing in your case. Garrett/Xona Rotor ftw since you can't fit an EFR in there
