Just an update it ended up being that dam ring on the pressure plate for the retainer being bent so ACT Monolock is going in and should be good to go. Such a crapy design. I would convert to push style but too expensive for my blood right now and I have heard that the monolock does the trick.

The stock-type collars suck.

Thank goodness for the Monoloc. Glad you got it sorted.

So that metal ring was cockeyed but still on enough so I still had a pedal but it was only pulled half the pressure plate teeth out when the clutch was pressed sonic was staying engaged.

TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE DOING A CLUTCH. BUY THE ACT MONOLOCK. DOESN'T MATTER WHAT BRAND CLUTCH YOU HAVE IF IT'S STILL A PULL STYLE DO NOTTTTTTTT PUT IT IN WITH THE STOCK STYLE TWO PIECE RING. YOU WILL BE TAKING YOUR TRANS OUT TWICE BELIEVE ME. ACT MONOLOCK PERIOD!!!
