GSC springs not enough lift for Kelford 272?

Just bought a set of Kelford 272 cams to replace the BC272s that were in the car when I bought it. Previous owner installed them with stock springs/retainers so Im getting upgraded ones for these cams. While looking for springs I figured the best bet would be the GSC valve spring kit. I looked up the specs and the maximum valve lift for GSCs is 11.2 mm. The maximum lift for the cams is 11.0 mm. Should I be worried about this? I dont know if 0.2mm is enough clearance before bottoming out or if I should just buy the Kelford spring set and use those. I believe the max lift on those ones was 13mm.

It must have something to do with upgrading the retainer set too then. I was just going to do the springs because I dont really plan on revving out to the moon or running over 26 psi. This set says 11.2 max lift because of stock retainers..

if they spec 11.2 theres very likely some extra room in there for manufacturing tolerances and such.
they wouldnt sell them as 11.2 max lift if they didnt work at 11.2. you are fine at 11.0

Ok I was just worried about bottoming them out at higher RPM, I don't think .2mm is much to play with

If they bottom out, the valves are floating.

They'll be fine.

I used both and they are of completely different design... Kiggley having a thick base below and GSC using the stock thin washer..

I an well aware of both myself I make valve springs for a living I know how they come. That isn't to say PAC doesn't make them differently being they don't really make a specific spring for our cars. Most of them are overhead cam mustang springs.
