Will a EVO 5-6 transmission fit in evo 9?
Will this fit? Basically Im contemplating doing a mirage project but I will be leaving it FWD, my evo ix syncros or sorta ****ed anyway and instead of spending 1k or 1500 for an 8 transmission I was thinking ide just buy a jdm engine set for about 2300 which includes the 5 speed transmission from an EVO 5 or 6. I saw a post where there was some information about fitting an evo 8 drivetrain into an older (mirage based) chassis but Im trying to do the opposite. any info would be great!
