I've read a few threads about this before, cant seem to dig them up. Links would help.

Looking to get an lsd tcase to replace my open front diff. Assuming a tcase out of an 04 rs would be best but thats even more rare than an 04 itself lol. So, should i have the oem one converted to lsd, will an acd tcase with no pump suffice, or a whole new after market case? Thanks

isn't the 04 (rs & non rs) equipped with ACD? if so, im sure there ae dteps you need to take to make it run comstantly in one supllied pressure mode (tarmac forsay), even tho the RS tcase is known to handle 800+ horsepower, I think you would be spending the same about to buy and convert it to a mom ACD than just putting a brand mew lsd in yours. goodluck let us know what you choose!

Acd wasnt until 2005, my plan from the beginning was to buy a blown up open front diff and send it to shep for a full rebuild and lsd anyway so we'll see. Thanks

Have you tried looking for just the lsd from an rs t-case? And install it into your current t-case.

You can buy a new rs diff from shep.he list the price under stage 1 and 2 transfer case options it's $450.its not hard to put in,the diff is kind of heavy when you remove it from the case.i noticed alittle but of difference,but it doesn't feel as nice as a car with acd.
