Evo is dead after an backfire

Recently I was out driving, coming to an stop sign as I took off got up to 4000rpm with no boost the car backfire super loud causing the car to shut off. To make thing short im getting fuel but no spark , timing is still at tdc , I replace the crankshaft sensor and camshafts sensor with oem but still no spark ??? Could it be a shortage on ground , burn ecu ??? Any help would be appreciated

Check your 10a IGN fuse under the dash, other than that, It can be your cam or crank sensor

It sounds like timing still, unless it's another sensor, any CEL's?

An actual backfire, when you let off the gas?

Yes, timing is still at tdc at camshaft and crankshaft Marking. And yes it's an actual backfire with flame coming out at 2000rpm letting off gas

That's not back fire. Back fire is actually when the flame goes though the intake tract and blows the air filter off.

What you're experience is raw fuel in the exhaust.

I'm curious to know what the problem is because it sounds like a timing issue, but all marks and triggers are spot on, with no CEL.

Yes, no cel is on. And yes timing is still tdc. I'm having an mechanic friend come over to look at it, I'll have this updated once we find out the issue

both ground wire was burn, first one is the ground wire ontop of the intake manifold, 2nd is the ground wire by the camshaft sensor. I replace both of them and added an extra ground wire making an total of 3 ground wire.

Grounds can burn if they get overloaded, which usually happens when there is poor continuity to the chassis...
