Well, the transmission was rebuilt by the original owner in 2009 by ShepTrans. It's an 04 Evo. I need a rebuild of some sort. I'm close to Pittsburgh and about 10 min from the OH border. I'm going to be dropping car off somewhere. Looks like at this point either Shep or Buschur...

I love the way this Shep tranny feels, it's probably my favorite part of the car along with the brakes/steering. It's very tight and precise. There is no play in the gears. I can literally shift as hard as I want with it. It just doesn't feel gummy like an average manual car. Don't know how else to explain it or what causes the trans to feel like this.
