JDM Evo 7 ACD/AYC pump making noise
Not sure whats wrong. Car would make a pulsing noise from the rear, determined it was the ACD pump working. No lights on the dash, only 1 on the ACD control. While driving, the pump started making a loud, whining sound and wouldn't turn off. Ended up turning the car off, but the pump continued to run. Its super loud when the car is off, and gets a bit quieter when the car is on. I ended up having to disconnect the battery to get it to turn off.
I'm not sure whether the pump is gone? a wiring issue? does it just need a rebuild? Any info or help is appreciated!
