Help oil residue on spark plug threads
So I am fairly positive that these are the original plugs.
Car has low miles, around 60K and I am pretty sure those are the factory plugs.
I put in new plugs and drove around about 500-1000 miles then took them out and there was only a little bit of residue on one of them
Here are the pictures of the original plugs which are supposed to last for about 60K miles

Thank you for the input

More then likely Anti Seize was used during assembly. That stuff sticks around a while. Better then a seized plug.
You shouldnt worry, if it were a serious issue of oil consumption you would have a ton of oil ASHES built up down in the center electrode area.

do you see anything on top of the piston? Have you ruled out the valve cover gasket? Being 10+ years old already, they could probably use a replacement. http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co...er_gaskets.htm
