Will an Evo 6 ayc pump fit in an Evo 7?

Hey everyone first time posting here, just curious as my ayc pump in my Evo 7 has shat itself. Found a second hand pump from a 6 and wondering if they are interchangeable? If not is there any way to make it fit?

Not sure but if you search you might find that the AYC pump on the 7 is much more alike the X pump. The same goes for the differential itself.

no as the 7 runs AYC and ACD so evo 6 pump is missing the ACD solenoid..

you need a EU/JP GSR pump from evo 7,8,9 ideally but you can fit a evo X pump with some work.. not a bolt on though...

it would be easier if you were to relocate the pump inside the trunk, as it is oriented differently in the X

it would need some adaptation in the harness, but nothing serious (just different connector for the motor and use the 7 short harness on the X pump), and the only issue might me the pressure sensor. IIRC both are the same electrically, apart from the connectors, so using the X sensor might work. Other option is to use the 7 pressure sensor on the X pump but that would need a mechanical adapter because thread is no the same.

in short, doable...
