Finally On My Way

AFTER ALL THIS TIME THINGS ARE FINALLY STARTING TO LOOK GOOD FOR MY EVO. I GOT A GREAT DEAL ON SOME JIC MAGIC PARTS FOR A REALLY GOOD PRICE. I HAVE A JIC TITANIUM CATBACK EXHAUST AND A JIC DOWNPIPE. SOON I WILL BE GETTING A JIC EXHAUST MANIFOLD, LOWER TIE BAR, AND A SUSPENSION. I AM ALSO PLANNING ON GETTING A BOOST CONTROLLER PROBABLY THE GREDDY PROFEC B II, I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE KNOWS IF I WILL HAVE ANY FUEL CUT ISSUES AND IF SO WHAT IS THE BEST REMEDY. I AM CURRENTLY USING THE WONDERFUL CALIFORNIA 91 OCTANE, BUT THERE IS A PLACE BY MY HOUSE THAT SELLS 100 OCTANE FOR AN ARM AND A LEG. ONCE EVERYTHING IS DONE I WILL TRY USING A COMBONATION OF 100 AND 91. IF YOU GUYS HAVE ANY IDEAS OR SUGESTIONS THAT WOULD BE GREAT.

Test Pipe Or Hiflow Cat

SO WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK IS BETTER, ESPECIALLY SINCE I LIVE IN THE LA AREA. I WANT TO TAKE OF THE CAT BUT I AM WORRIED ABOUT ANY LEGAL PROBLEMS THAT MAY GO ALONG WITH THAT. I HEARD THE FINE FOR NO CAT IS PRETTY HEFTY. I WAS THINKING ABOUT GETTING A HI FLOW FOR REGULAR DRIVING, AND HAVING A TEST PIPE FOR WHEN ITS NEED. IS THERE A BIG PERFORMANCE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A HI FLOW CAT AND A TEST PIPE, AND WHAT WOULD BE A GOOD TEST PIPE OR HI FLOW CAT TO BUY. THANX.

****ing go with the testpipe. or just buy both,and switch them around.theres a differents of 10-15 hp.

Hi,

Please note that this forum does not allow typing in all caps. You'll get more responses converning that than answers to your questions.

You should not get fuel cut with the goodies you listed, however, once you open up the intake and raise the boost, you should expect it. Do a search on fuel cut and you'll get many threads addressing fuel cut including ECU reflash and larger injectors with a piggy back A/F controller. Have fun!
