Quaife diff broke

Car was having some drivetrain issues. After inspection observed the quaife diff broke . Car is 480hp .

How can these bolts jus shear off. 4 bolts were broken. Afraid to extract broken piece in case I cause damage.

Any help wud be appreciated.

Shows the broken bolts against the good ones

Any signs that the bolts were loose? Have you contacted Quaife?

Who assembled it? I'd go talk to them first.

It's not an install issue. Had it installed in my car for over 2 years. Haven't contacted quaife as yet. Do they warranty it?

Well, is it safe to say that whoever torqued those bolts might be the culprit?

Bolts were never torqued. Just as I bought it it was installed. I spoke to momentum motorsports. Hoping for a positive outcome.

If you can't remove the broken bolt stubs take it to a machine shop. Then buy some high quality replacement bolts. If no other damage - done.

I'm not sure on warranty, but it doesn't hurt to ask. And you'll need new bolts from them anyways, as well as either shipping the diff back to them or to a qualified drivetrain shop to repair it and inspect it for any other damage.

Those bolts are hold the diff housings together, they would've come from Quaife installed, torqued, and ready to go..

i would contact quaife.
even if they dont warranty it, they may fix it at a reduced cost.

they will like to get it back and investigate the failure.
