Has anyone installed the KDN shifter in a Evo with the stock center console? If so, does it fit without modifications with the boot? Pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Try an ILR shifter instead. It uses the stock assembly, can use a strain gauge, and has money shift lockouts.

 

i would give boostin a call and ask for those types of details. But that type of shifter usually is meant to be run without an interior so im guessing that console modifications are a must if you desire to cover some !

 

Thanks for the input. I went with the Money Shifter by Huy Tran. It will fit the stock console and I am sure I can use a boot to cover it.
