Fixing it? ? At this point I'd modify it but breaking the rest of the tabs off and send it, but i wasnt happy with how ACT went about the first 255 clutch that did the same thing, plus the clutch is technically out of warranty
DM me on price

The spring tabs are there just for noise.
Remove all of them and send it - will be good!

I'm now locked out of all gears while the car is started. Slave cylinder moves when depressing the clutch. Going to readjust the clutch pedal to see if that fixes it, if it doesn't, I'll be dropping the trans to inspect the ACT twin.

How far off the floor does your clutch engage? It prob wore and is now to far out. Will it go into gear while car is off? If it does and you try to start the car if the car moves forward you need to adjust the pedal towards the floor

Before it would engage about halfway up on the travel. It goes into gear just fine when the car is off. The car now tends to jump very slightly when depressing the clutch to start. Hoping it's just an adjustment.

Pretty much almost maxed out the clutch pedal adjusting and I'm slightly able to get the car into gear.

I would open up the inspection port and try to crank over the trans if you can and see if you broke something. Sounds like tob issue

I've been daily driving it since install in December 2020. I ran into the lockout issue last winter on start, but it went away and I didn't experience it this winter.

Looks like one of the tabs broke off on the floater plate. Uploaded images to ACT, maybe they will warranty it for me but I'm doubtful.

They will warranty it if it's the old style cover being that happened to a lot of them.

Shouldn't matter its a known problem with the clutch itself but I am sure you would have to find out what the build date is and or send them a pic of the damage. I have had mine for idk how long and they sent me a warranty info and mine has like 13k on it.
