No issues so far with 600+whp. Clutch has a smooth engagement and pedal pressure is very light so perfect for a daily driver. I don't track the car so I can't comment on severe abuse, but I do 1-3 gear sprints often and it works as advertised.
How is the travel of the pedal compared to your other clutch? (long or shorter?)

It feels about the same, but perhaps a hair longer. I don't think this is something that you would notice unlike the pedal pressure, which was significantly lighter.

Let me revise this assessment. The ACT 6 puck with HD cover had a short engagement window, which made it harder to use for daily driving because it was either on or off and not much in between. The new ACT Twin actually has a slight engagement very early off the floor, but it is only a subtle engagement until you get about half way out and then it really starts to grab. This larger window makes it easier to start and allows for a smooth engagement. I hope this makes sense.
Ordered my kit from MAP last week and it arrived in South Africa within 6 days. I went with the Twin XT Sprung Street Kit with Organic discs as I want to car to be easily driveable on the streets.
The workshop is extremely busy and can only take the car in 3 weeks so just have to wait.
Is anyone experiencing locks out or other issues with this clutch? I'v see a couple of post on FB about people having lockouts and rubbing issues.
I've run numerous ACT clutches in the EVO and never had lockout issues with any of them contrary to the many negative posts. The twin disc is no exception and it shifts like butter all day long with no issue at all so far. This clutch makes zero noise under any circumstance so the only thing unknown is how many miles it will last.
Before installation you need to use a stainless steel wire brush and clean the splines thoroughly and then use the supplied pink grease to lube the splines and then slide the disk back and forth on the shaft to make sure it is coated. Wipe off the large excessive grease so there is just a thin film that remains and you should be good. I've done this with all of my ACT clutches and they shifted flawlessly.
Good to know, hopefully it works well i guess everyone situation is different
my vote is for installer error. I've been running ACT clutches since 2001, I've never had a car get locked out of gear. Neither of my friends have either. Never know, though. It could just be crazy good luck.

Same experience. I installed in December and have 1500 hilly street miles on it with no complaints. If it would ever stop snowing, I'm going to take it around the ring and flog it for 30 minutes straight and check for any issues..
