Evo 2 Spark Plugs

I have a 1994 Evo 2 that has NGK iridium plugs, 5044. I have some intermittent idle/missing issues, always on start-up, that seem independent of temperature, fuel, or anything else. After a few seconds it disappears. I remember I had a BMW 318Ti with the M42 engine that had this EXACT same problem with iridium plugs. Going back to the OEM-spec NGK's solved it.

I want to go back to plain NGKs on the Evo as well, but I cant find a proper NGK part number due to being in the States, and this car not being in the systems of NGK-US or anywhere else. I have tried all sources, I'm getting BPR6ES or BP7ES or sometimes something else.

Any recommends?
